Description

This is an oversize Bolt knob for the MKI & MKII pistols that compliments the Laser Marking raw metal of the Mac1 Logo and product designation on the Limited Edition LD MKI's. Made from Stainless Steel with knurling and a grub screw that sets in the hole of the bolt shafts original knob hole. Bolt not included. We use this part to take the extra lug slop out of models that have a gap between the lug and the frame when the bolt is shut. The knob is too long up front and needs to be cut back a bit to get the perfect fit on models with the steel guide and some with the plastic guide as well. When the gun is used for higher than average power applications where the lug could get damaged due to Lug Slop this part is critical. The run the lug gets at the frame when there is slop will eventually trash the lug and do unrepairable damage to the guns frame. We see the lug slop mostly in late models that have no side screws at the back and the plastic bolt guide. Now available in clear anodised aluminum (economy version).
